About Our Culture

We are Troopers! 

The Accountant, Finance &amp; Accounts will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of Troopers, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and tax compliance. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of financial management and accounting principles, as well as experience in managing finance teams and working with the management to drive business growth. Your responsibilities will include : 
<ul>
<li>Assist the Finance Manager in establishing and reviewing Troopers accounts and finance policies (SOPs) on a quarterly basis.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Responsible for full set of accounts and ensure proper maintenance of general ledger and journal entry preparation monthly, quarterly and annual management reports, including treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, income statements, loan and deviation analysis</li>
<li>Liaise and coordinate with business partners such as bankers, auditors, tax agencies and company secretary for all financial and statutory matters including reporting and submission of relevant documentation</li>
<li>Maintaining proper books of accounts in accordance to the accounting standards and statutory regulations</li>
<li>Research and update procedures/ documentation according to the law and standards</li>
<li>Assist the Finance Manager in establishing and identifying new investment opportunities for Troopers to diversify any of its additional/spare cash on hand.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Assist the Finance Manager to prepare Budgets and closely monitor expenditures and income associated with all projects/campaigns together with the annual budget requirements and investigation of errors</li>
<li>Act as the point of contact between the team members and internal/external stakeholders). Undertake the tasks of receiving calls, taking messages and routing correspondence.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Handle requests and queries appropriately.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Take dictation and minutes and accurately enter data.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Develop and carry out an efficient documentation and filing system.</li>
</ul>
