Job Description

The Junior HR Executive role offers exposure to a wide range of HR functions and provides valuable learning opportunities in a dynamic environment. This position supports the HR department with the following responsibilities:

1) Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Post job advertisements and screen resumes for office staff vacancy. 
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and relevant departments.
  • Assist in preparing offer letters and employment contracts. 
  • Conduct onboarding briefings and ensure new hire documentation is complete. 

2) Employee Records & HR Administration

  • Maintain up-to-date employee records (including licenses, training logs, and certifications).
  • Process attendance, leave applications, and update the HR system accordingly.

3) Payroll & Benefits

  • Assist in gathering attendance and overtime data for payroll processing.
  • Support with SOCSO, EPF, and other statutory contribution submissions. 
  • Help coordinate employee panel clinic and benefits administration. 

4) Training & Compliance

  • Assist in organizing training sessions (safety, customer service, SOP refreshers).
  • Maintain training records and support employee development planning.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and transport industry regulations.

5) Employee Engagement

  • Help plan staff engagement programs and welfare activities.
  • Provide administrative support in handling staff grievances and HR correspondence.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Have at least 1-2 years of experience. 
  • Good understanding of basic HR practices and the Malaysian labor law.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organised. 
  • Able to manage confidential information professionally.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Being able to start immediately is a bonus.
