HABIB’s journey began over 60 years ago in 1958, when an enterprising young man named Habib Mohamad began his career in a jewellery store.&nbsp;

Having worked his way up from being an assistant to becoming a participating partner, Habib understood real customer needs.

He later struck out on his own and opened the very first jewellery store along Penang’s famed “Jeweller’s Corner” on Pitt Street. Our late founder, Datuk Haji Habib Mohamed Latif established that HABIB, from the very beginning, is a unique brand that did things differently. At a time when gold was the mainstay of jewellers, we stood out by selling diamonds instead.

From that small bustling workshop emerged a range of jewellery of such exceptional quality that his clientele soon expanded. Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Responsible in the end-to-end recruitment process which including screening, shortlisting, interviewing, selection, job offering, and relevant employment documentations based on the budget and timeline.</li>
<li>Coordinate and create pleasant candidate experience throughout the onboarding until offboarding stage.</li>
<li>Work closely with respective stakeholders to identify their manpower planning needs and provide supports accordingly.</li>
<li>Maintain and input active recruitment database.</li>
<li>Manage employee movements, transfers, and promotions as well as offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews and handling necessary documents.</li>
<li>Be analytical and ensure reports are submitted accurately and on timely basis.</li>
<li>Build rapport and maintain good relationship with stakeholders, work closely with business leaders to provide appropriate advices and guidance.</li>
<li>Continuously review and ensure job descriptions are accurately updated for all existing and new positions according to the operations requirements.</li>
<li>Participate in the sustainable organisation structure review and design, performance management process to achieve business goals.</li>
<li>Attend career fairs, career talks and other innovative recruitment efforts in developing the talent brand.</li>
<li>Support the superior in HR talent &amp; recruitment strategy and plans.</li>
<li>Proactively identifies gaps, propose and implement innovative recruitment strategies and HR practices changes necessary to align with business goals.</li>
<li>Participate in the HR strategy discussion and responsible to manage the ad-hoc project assigned</li>
