Job Description

Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and mentor team members.
  • Track team performance against targets using sales data and provide regular feedback.
  • Lead and coach the sales team in executing on-ground sales activities, including cold calling, outbound prospecting, and managing inbound leads to drive new merchant acquisition.

Performance Management

  • Set clear performance expectations, monitor sales pipelines, and ensure disciplined sales execution.
  • Build and develop a high-performing field sales team.
  • Drive and motivate the team to meet daily and monthly targets.

Merchant Acquisition

  • Analyze market opportunities and competitive insights, leveraging data to refine sales strategies and strengthen market position.
  • Oversee sales presentations and product demonstrations, ensuring Account Managers effectively communicate the value proposition to prospective merchants.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Operations, Customer Service, and HR.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role, preferably within sales, digital solutions, or service-based businesses serving SME industries.
  • Strong understanding of, and established connections within, the SME, F&B, and/or Retail sectors.
  • Proactive and effective communicator with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Result-oriented, self-motivated, and highly committed to achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to continuously learn and grow professionally.
  • Able to uphold company values, culture, and compliance standards while driving sustainable business results.
