The Sales Order Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the sales order processing team, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment, and optimizing processes for efficiency. This role involves coordinating with internal departments, managing a team, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership &amp; Supervision
<ul>
<li>Supervise and guide the sales order processing team to ensure efficient workflow.</li>
<li>Train and mentor team members to improve performance and productivity.</li>
<li>Monitor team performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.</li>
<li>Conduct regular team meetings to discuss challenges and updates.</li>
</ul>
Sales Order Management
<ul>
<li>Oversee the end-to-end sales order process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.</li>
<li>Approve and validate sales orders before processing.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with company policies and customer requirements.</li>
<li>Address and resolve order discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.</li>
</ul>
Customer Communication &amp; Support
<ul>
<li>Serve as the escalation point for complex customer order issues.</li>
<li>Maintain strong relationships with key customers and address their concerns proactively.</li>
<li>Provide accurate order updates and ensure excellent customer service.</li>
</ul>
Coordination with Internal Departments
<ul>
<li>Work closely with the sales representative, warehouse &amp; logistics, production and finance teams to streamline operations.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the procurement team (this includes the production planner) to ensure adequate stock levels for order fulfilment.</li>
<li>Assist the finance department with invoicing and credit control issues related to sales orders.</li>
</ul>
Process Improvement &amp; Reporting
<ul>
<li>Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiency strategies.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain KPIs to track order processing performance.</li>
<li>Generate and present reports on order trends, customer feedback, and team performance, monthly basis.</li>
<li>Ensure the team follows best practices and industry standards in order processing.</li>
</ul>
