Job Description

Role Summary

The Senior Executive Human Resources is responsible for coordinating key HR functions including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, training & development, payroll and HR administration. This role supports the Head of Human Resources in developing and executing HR strategies that align with business goals while ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies.

Roles & Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and provide recruitment insights.
  • Ensure all new hires complete proper documentation and onboarding procedures.

Training & Development

  • Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) in collaboration with department heads.
  • Organize internal and external training sessions & track employee training records.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and report ROI on learning initiatives.

Payroll Administration

  • Maintain accurate HR records, personal files, and HRIS data.
  • Prepare monthly payroll & HR-related reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as SOCSO, EPF, EIS, and PCB.
  • Coordinate matters regarding employee insurance & renewal.
  • Assist in HR compensation & benefits, policy review and continuous improvement.

Performance Management

  • Coordinate annual and mid-year performance appraisal exercises.
  • Support managers in setting performance goals and KPIs.
  • Compile performance data and assist in salary review and promotion exercises.

Employee Relations & Engagements

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and grievances.
  • Support HR initiatives to build a positive work culture, including employee engagement and wellness programs.
  • Coordinate disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies and Malaysian labour law.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a corporate or multi-entity environment.
  • Experience in handling the full spectrum of HR functions is required.
  • Overall understanding of Malaysian labour laws and HR best practices. 
  • Familiar with HRMS systems (especially INFOTECH) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess a driving license – willing to travel when necessary.
