Job Description

1. Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection process to fulfil hiring needs 
  • Develop hiring strategies and monitor employee retention and turnover 
  • Ensure proper onboarding, employment contracts, and statutory registrations

2. Compensation & Benefits

  • Advise management on salary benchmarking and compensation structures 
  • Manage payroll, income tax, insurance, and employee benefits administration 
  • Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with company policies and local laws 
  • Maintain HRIS, payroll records, and benefits database

3. HR Operations & Administration

  • Develop and update HR policies, SOPs, and organizational structures 
  • Maintain staff records including job descriptions, KPIs, and organization charts 
  • Oversee office administration, procurement, and workplace safety compliance

4. Industrial Relations (IR)

  • Act as liaison between employees and management to resolve workplace issues 
  • Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, and domestic inquiries (DI) 
  • Advise management on industrial relations best practices 
  • Liaise with government authorities such as JTK and IR Department

5. Performance Management & Development

  • Implement and manage Performance Management Process (PMP) 
  • Support performance reviews (monthly, quarterly, annual, 360° evaluations) 
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development programs 
  • Drive HR system improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field 
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role 
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Law and Industrial Relations practices 
  • Experience managing full spectrum HR functions including payroll and IR 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Experience using HRIS or HR systems is an advantage 
  • Background in automotive or operations industry is preferred
