Job Description

The HR Executive will oversee the end-to-end human resources function for our F&B outlets. The primary focus is on high-volume recruitment, maintaining a healthy pipeline of service staff, and ensuring all outlets operate within Malaysian labor laws and Halal/Health requirements.

  1. Rapid Recruitment & Manpower Planning
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for outlet staff (service crew, kitchen helpers, supervisors) and HQ roles.
  • Strategize and execute "walk-in" interview days and digital recruitment ads (social media, JobStreet, etc.).
  • Maintain a "waitlist" of candidates to quickly fill gaps caused by sudden resignations.

Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Process monthly payroll for 150 number of employees, including overtime (OT) calculations and public holiday rates.
  • Manage statutory contributions: EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB.
  • Monitor staff attendance and leave management via the HRIS system.

Compliance & Training

  • Ensure all kitchen staff have valid Typhoid vaccinations and food handling certificates.
  • Maintain employee files and ensure compliance with the Employment Act 1955.
  • Coordinate onboarding and "Service Excellence" training for new hires.

Employee Relations & Discipline

  • Manage disciplinary issues, including issuing Warning Letters or conducting Domestic Inquiries (DI) for misconduct (e.g., theft, absenteeism).
  • Conduct outlet visits to engage with ground staff and improve retention.

Job Requirements

Education: Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of HR experience. F&B or Retail background is a significant advantage.

Knowledge: Familiarity with Malaysian Labor Law and the latest amendments.

Skills: Proficient in payroll software (SQL Payroll).

Language: Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
